Started and running by three young hawkerprenuers, this coffee shop stall offers a selection of mouth-watering Western food, from burgers to pasta, everything under S$10. Its cooked-to-order base to ensure the freshness of the food – rest assured, it’s worth the wait. Do check out their Mentaiko Pasta (S$7.90) and Beer Battered Fish & Chips (S$6.90).
Supreme Ramen Xiao Long Bao

Chef Li, who is an ex-dim sum chef at Crystal Jade and Tung Lok restaurants, ventured out and runs his own stall that serves affordable quality Chinese cuisines. He made an effort to arrive the stall 3 hours earlier before operating hours to prepare the soup dumplings by hand. Definitely give their Shanghai Xiao Long Bao (S$4.50 for six pieces) a try –it won’t disappoint you.

Not your usual Kopitiam as this serves you restaurant-quality Japanese cuisine. Having said that the founder is a Teppanyaki chef with 20 years of experience, they serve value-to-money bentos as low as S$6.80, which comes with a side and a drink. Don’t miss their speciality – Yoko Yoko (S$6), a dish somewhat similar to takoyaki, but instead, it contains tilapia fish and crab meat, mixed with two different homemade mayonnaise.
Hill Street Tai Hua Pork Noodle

Homemade springy noodle laced with its unique blend of vinegar and other sauces – this is not-your-ordinary Bak Chor Mee that you can find elsewhere. The vinegar blend is savoury satisfying to some, while others who are not fond of strong sourly taste might find it hard to accept at first. Their signature Gan Mian (S$5 for regular size) – topped with minced pork, pork meatballs, pork liver and fried salted fish is an all-rounder – absolutely worth the 1 to 2 hours waiting time.

Muslim-owned Burgernomics is no ordinary burger stall. With its café-quality, IG-worthy and affordable burgers, no wonder it quickly rises as a food hotspot. People are queuing even before the stall opens. Give their Deluxe Burger (S$6.50) a try – juicy beef patty coated with blow-torched cheddar cheese, loaded with truffle aioli, caramelised onion, mushroom, and finishing with slightly toasted buns.

This hawker stall at Bedok is opened by an ex-Din Tai Fung chef, serving gastronomic and authentic Chinese food at half the price. The food here doesn’t taste exactly like what is served at Din Tai Fung, nevertheless customers are coming back for more because of its own rustic flavour and generous portions. With its extensive food menu, do try their signature dish Dan Dan Noodle (S$4.50) and Pork Ribs Fried Rice (S$6).

Started by a brother duo, Jovan and Joel Goh, this food stall is serving restaurant-worthy Southern Asian fusion food at hawker price. Notably, chef-owner Jovan was a former cook of Michelin-starred restaurant back in Bangkok. Here you can find various poke bowls; for instance, Leggy Bowl (S$7.50), which is a Thai-inspired bowl, starring Thai-style pork trotter, drizzled with savoury minced meat sauce, topped with pickled papaya, blanched nai bai and onsen egg.

This hawker stall is serving an extensive noodle and rice menu at a wallet-friendly price. To name a few, Value Meal Shio Noodles (S$6.90), Mentaiko Salmon Rice Bowl (S$7.90), Grilled Pork Belly Rice Bowl (S$5.90) – feeling hungry just by reading the menu.
