Mustafa that are Cheaper than NTUC Fair Price

“Budget shopping” – perhaps that’s what you’d hear the most about shopping at Mustafa.

Is that really true?

To find out, we headed down to the bustling shopping center for a survey.

And the results?

In general, prices for both are quite competitive, with one matching another almost exactly.

However, there are certain items that were observed to be cheaper in Mustafa. Most of them can be considered as necessity goods, especially ones that belong to the category of health & beauty.

What’s next? We are going to list them down for your shopping hunt. The list is divided into three tiers, in ascending order of savings that you’d get at Mustafa. Do note that this is only a quick guide, as the list is non-exhaustive and prices may vary with time.

TIER 1 – From 10% to 30% Savings at Mustafa

Seven items are listed in this tier, with five of them belonging to the health & beauty category, and the remaining in infant care and drinks.

Other factors to note prior to rushing down to Mustafa Centre are the transportation costs (bus/train fares, parking fees etc.) and the weekend crowd, which may offset the savings! This is why items with less than 10% savings were not featured, such as:

SN Product description NTUC price (SGD) Mustafa price (SGD) Savings
1 Nestle Cereal – Milo (330g) 5.65 5.50 3%
2 Farmland Chicken Nuggets (400g) 4.30 3.95 8%

However, if you somehow need to do groceries shopping past mid-night, then it’s still worth considering.

Happy shopping!
