Singapore’s Coolest Workspace

By Epoch Times Staff

SINGAPORE— Located on the 34th floor of One Raffles Place, Spencer Ogden, the region’s leading energy recruiter, launched one of Singapore’s coolest workspaces on 22 January 2015.

The space was designed by Bonita Spencer-Percival, the company’s Design Director, with the vision of incorporating home and garden in its office.

To keep executives energised while they work, over S$1 million has been spent to integrate table-tennis, foosball, basketball hoops, crazy golf, bicycles and even rickshaws into the workspace.

Bonita Spencer-Percival has amalgamated Spencer Ogden’s corporate brand with distinctive elements of local culture.

For example, there is a huge Singapore national flag in the Not Bored Room, a Raffles inspired Club Room and a warehouse-style trading floor.

CEO David Spencer-Percival said: “The new office in Singapore is our biggest and most ambitious yet. At Spencer Ogden, we are committed to creating environments that encourage open communication and team work, and as a result we have a highly collaborative and productive workforce.

“I want the team to enjoy coming to work and I strongly believe that creating a positive working environment brings benefits: I have seen it increase staff productivity by 30%.”
